SB-Pool Leak Sealer - pools and spas

This fast-acting product will seal minor leaks in most swimming pools and spas. SB-Pool Leak Sealer is a blended concentrated material that can be used for leaks in the shell and in plumbing, and will seal small holes, forming a permanent seal.

It can be used on acrylic, fiberglass, concrete, wood, vinyl, paint, PVC, ABS, copper, steel pipes, etc.

How to use it

• Determine water loss in a 24 hour period by measuring the water level drop in that period and select the amount of Fix-A-Leak required
• Fill your hot tub to the original level and mark the water line
• Remove all filter cartridges or other filtration devices. For sand filters, set the filter valve to "Recirculate".
• Be sure to shake the bottle well, as the product is very heavy and will sink to the bottom. Placing the bottle into a container of hot water, prior to shaking, will ensure product is properly mixed
• With pump(s) running, gradually add the recommended dose into the skimmer or, in overflow pools, directly into the pool near the pulse jets to help homogenize the product. Also open all your massage jets.
• Keep the filtration system running - recirculation position - until the leak(s) are sealed and no water is leaking.
• Check the water level for 2 to 3 days. If level remains the same, the leak has stopped
• Once the leak(s) have disappeared, put the system in the "filtration" position (after having reinstalled the filtering elements that were removed during the repair of the leak).

We recommend not using the spa until the leak is fixed and the remainder of SB-Pool Leak Sealer is either filtered or drained from the spa/hot tub.

The treatment can be repeated without exceeding a concentration of 5l per 80m3, beyond that it will be necessary to change the water before using the pool.

SB-Pool Leak Sealer must not be used if your heater comes with a pressure switch, as it may block the orifice.

Add 25 ml of product per 2.000 litres of water (spa)
Add 1 litre of product per 80.000 litres of water (pool)
