Gecko temperature and Hi-Limit sensors
Listed here the temperature sensors and Hi-Limit sensors and their spare parts that are compatible with the Gecko M-Class and S-Class control boxes.
- A temperature sensor, as the name implies, is used to detect the water temperature, which is indicated on the spa's keypad.
- An overheating sensor (called a "Hi-Limit" sensor) is a safety device programmed to activate when the water temperature exceeds 40°C, the maximum temperature on most hot tubs.
The latest X and Y series boxes are equipped with the in.kin technology, an all-electronic heating protection that shuts off all accessories if it senses the water overheating, and with the in.flo technology, an all-electronic dry-fire protection that eliminates the burden of adjustments, calibrations and failures associated to usual water flow sensors.
